Implementasi Model Project Based Learning (PjBL) untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPAS pada Materi Transformasi Energi Siswa Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dan menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar IPAS pada materi transformasi energi siswa kelas IV SDN Sumur Welut III/440. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 29 siswa kelas IV. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar secara peningkatan: pada kondisi awal hanya 45% siswa yang tuntas, meningkat menjadi 62% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 90% pada siklus II. Nilai rata-rata kelas juga meningkat dari 72 pada siklus I menjadi 85 pada siklus II. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PjBL terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS materi transformasi energi di sekolah dasar.
