Efektivitas Teknik Pomodoro dalam Mereduksi Kebosanan Akademik pada Pembelajaran Literasi Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstrak

Kebosanan akademik telah menjadi fenomena psikologis signifikan yang memengaruhi pembelajaran literasi di sekolah dasar, ditandai dengan pengalaman emosional tidak menyenangkan, defisit kognitif, dan penurunan motivasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas Teknik Pomodoro yang telah diadaptasi dalam mengurangi kebosanan akademik pada pembelajaran literasi siswa kelas 5. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen sejati dengan pretest-posttest control group yang melibatkan 53 siswa kelas 5 SDN Krembung 1, yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (n=27) dan kontrol (n=26). Kelompok eksperimen menerima intervensi Teknik Pomodoro (15 menit fokus, 5 menit istirahat) selama 6 minggu, sedangkan kelompok kontrol menerima pembelajaran konvensional. Kebosanan akademik diukur menggunakan adaptasi Achievement Emotions Questionnaire Academic Boredom Subscale (α=0,906). Data dianalisis menggunakan paired t-test, independent t-test, dan Cohen's d. Hasil menunjukkan penurunan skor kebosanan akademik yang sangat signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen (M=-12,22, SD=4,19, penurunan 20,70%) dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (M=-1,65, SD=2,02, penurunan 2,87%). Independent t-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang sangat signifikan (t=-5,91, p<0,001) dengan ukuran efek sangat besar (Cohen's d=-1,63), mengindikasikan bahwa Teknik Pomodoro 7,36 kali lebih efektif dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional dalam mengurangi kebosanan akademik. Teknik Pomodoro yang telah diadaptasi sangat efektif dalam mengurangi kebosanan akademik pada pembelajaran literasi sekolah dasar, memberikan solusi berbasis bukti untuk mendukung tujuan pendidikan berkualitas yang sejalan dengan pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals 4.
